Treasure Trove

From our “treasure trove” comes Prayer of Intercession. Moses intercedes for the people (Exodus 32), as did Abraham, as does Jesus:

Jesus is the one intercessor with the Father on behalf of all people, especially sinners. He is “able for all time to save those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them” (CCC 2634).

And so we, united to Christ, intercede for others with an “intercession that recognizes no boundaries” (CCC 2636).

We should not underestimate the importance and power of Prayer of Intercession.
