Storms couldn’t stop Marist Community Carols
Thunder and lightning could not stop the Community Carols from raising the roof at Marist last week!
It was a full house, drenched with wonderful Christmas cheer and beautiful singing.
Thank you to all those who ventured out and helped support Vinnies and Karinya House Mothers and Babies. Our College community also generously donated 67 Christmas Hampers to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal.
I’d especially like to thank Andre and Tim for their work on the mic, Susan Fittler (Junior School Choir), Sam Palma (Dante Alighieri Choir), Denis O’Brien (Sing Australia Choir), Fr Richard from Mary Help of Christians Parish, Therese and Wes from Vinnies, Charlotte and Chris from My Sweet Alice and Goodberry’s, Michael on photography, Facilities staff on the SantaMobile™ and Micah from Eclipse, Pino who donned the red suit and all the other elves who helped decorate.
The Community Carols is now in its sixth year and has become a feature event of the Marist Association, bringing together various members of the broader community and offering a space to celebrate the end of the year, relax with family and friends and soak up the Christmas spirit.
We look forward to inviting you to the next Marist Association event and hope you have a wonderful holiday break.
