Priceless

We are in the middle of the Priestly Prayer of Jesus (John 17).

It is an impressive prayer.

Modelled on the Our Father, it seems, fidelity to the will of the Father, and most assuredly concerned with the glorification of Jesus through the Resurrection of the Christ.

If we let it speak to us, we shall discover anew the intimacy of the Father and Son.

Our life has many relationships, some important, others superficial.

It is the mutual love of Father and Son that matters most.

Their Love is a person – the Holy Spirit – that is essentially priceless.
