Sunday 13th October: A Day of Prayer for the Assembly
A Day of Prayer for the Assembly is encouraged in all our parishes, especially our Masses.
Please find attached some liturgical resources to assist you. Special Assembly candles will be blessed at the 11 am Cathedral Mass.
Thursday, 17 October: Ordination of Rev Mark Ha
Mark Ha’s ordination to the presbyterate is a joyful occasion for the Archdiocese and an opportunity to kick off the Assembly weekend. People are encouraged to attend or watch the live stream from the Cathedral.
Friday 18 – Sunday 20 October: Archdiocesan Assembly

Opening of the Assembly: Ecumenical Prayer Vigil (Cathedral, 6pm, 18th Oct, – refreshments from 5pm in the Hall)
Conversations in the Spirit (St Clare’s and Hubs, 9am-4pm, 19th Oct) Mass in the Cathedral at 7.30am.
Masses in parishes (Sunday, 20th Oct} Pastoral Letter from the Archbishop to be read at all Masses during the homily in the Archdiocese (short video also available if needed). Pastoral resources for parish conversations in the Spirit will be provided at the culmination of the Assembly.
Sunday 27 October: Marian Procession

Sunday, 27th October (11am -3pm}. Much has been prepared at St Peter and Paul’s Parish to include an ecumenical and youth emphasis for this much-loved devotion. On this day, we will thank the Lord for his many blessings over the previous weeks and implore Our Lady Help of Christians to intercede with us on the synodal journey that will open up in our Archdiocese in the years ahead.
