Fr Joe Neonbasu celebrated Mass with students and staff at St Joseph’s Primary Grenfell. The students love the joy and energy he brings and can’t wait for his next visit.
Visit from Olympian
St John Vianney students in Waramanga had a visit from Olympic racewalker Brendon Reading. Year 5 and 6 were interested to learn about his journey as an athlete and enjoyed a race walk with him. Brendon encouraged students to set goals and strive to achieve their dreams.
Holy Trinity celebrates feast day
Staff and students at Trinity Primary Murrumburrah have celebrated the Feast of the Holy Trinity. They held a liturgy led by Kindy, Year 1 and Year 2 followed by a range of activities throughout the day. There was plenty of craft, dough-making and ice cream as well as a cake to finish the day.
Fireside Chats with Bev Cains
Former politician and primary school teacher Bev Cains talked about her journey through faith, family and Fatima at The Canberra Catholic Bookshop’s second Fireside Chats. It is a monthly event where authors, artists, travellers and storytellers tell their story.
