Learning and fun go hand in hand at Rosary Primary School
The Makerspace Invention Lab opened at the beginning of the term with a focus on taking part in The Global Cardboard Challenge. As part of the challenge, students were involved in a once a week session to design and create an arcade game. The aim of the Global Cardboard Challenge was to get children to use creativity and problem solving to complete their game. It required the use of a multitude of skills such as ingenuity, resourcefulness, perseverance, collaboration, teamwork, and critical thinking. Every group that completed the challenge was able to invite a friend to showcase their creations and to play the games created during the Challenge. Fun, learning and enormous enjoyment were had by all!

Looks like a brilliant learning environment. Congratulations to the teachers who implemented this programme and then let the students get on with it.
