Human Ecology

Isaiah 41 proclaims an ‘ecological transformation.’ We have a responsibility to be stewards of God’s creation.

Both Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis use the phrase ‘human ecology,’reminding us that ecology must include our very selves, along with the natural world.

God will help us:

I will help you – it is the Lord who speaks – the Holy One of Israel is your redeemer (Isaiah 41).

Isaiah says God is Lord, Holy One and Redeemer.

Again and again, the Word of God reminds us that transformation properly belongs to God.

Can we receive this magnanimous promise?
