World Mission Sunday

World Mission Sunday is a day set aside for the Catholic Church throughout the world to publicly renew its commitment to the missionary movement. Parishes participate in this day through the World Mission Sunday parish appeal that will be conducted this weekend.  World Mission Sunday is an international day decreed by the Pope as a way of praying for and  supporting the material needs of Christian communities throughout the world.
