Guinness & God: Faith Under Fire

For over fifteen years, Guiness and God has offered a space for young adults, university students and young professionals to gather in the very heart of Canberra city to open up conversations around life and faith.

The format for each gathering is simple: participants gather with friends over dinner and drinks before hearing from a guest speaker which is followed by an opportunity to ask questions and seek new perspectives.

Over the years we have engaged Australian church leaders, political figures, professional athletes, diplomats, media personalities and justice advocates.

We believe Guinness & God holds space for valuable conversations to take place and where great ideas and inspiration can be birthed.

Join us on Wednesday 14 August for the first gathering of the 2024 Series.

We are pleased to announce that our guest speaker for the night will be Major Gavin Keating who has recently been ordained as a Permanent Deacon for the Military Ordinariate of Australia and currently serves as a Chaplain at the Royal Military College, Duntroon.

Gavin’s military service spans several decades as a senior infantry officer that included numerous overseas postings. He’ll be speaking on how faith has sustained him in moments of crisis and change.
