2021 E.M. Fletcher Writing Competition, An Opportunity for Family Historians

Every family has a story! Do you need an incentive to write yours? The Heraldry and Genealogy Society of Canberra (HAGSOC) has an opportunity for you!
The 2021 E.M. Fletcher Writing Competition, an initiative of HAGSOC, is open for entries and you have until 15 July 2021 to submit yours.
The competition selects the best short story on a family history/genealogy theme. The genre of writing is not limited, and the broad theme allows plenty of scope for creativity.

Details include:
Word limit: 1,500-2,000 words.
Closing date: 15 July 2021.
Entry Fee: $20.00 for HAGSOC members, $30.00 for non-members.
Prizes: There is a chance to win $1,000 and special HAGSOC member prizes.
