Drama

Yesterday the angels freed the apostles from imprisonment and out they went ‘boldly’ proclaiming ‘this new life.’

Acts 5 continues the drama today, not so much for the high priest, but for you and me:
 

Peter replied, ‘Obedience to God comes before obedience to men.’

‘It was God who raised up Jesus …’

‘By his own right hand God raised him up to be leader and saviour, to give repentance and forgiveness of sins …’

‘We are witnesses to all this, we and the Holy Spirit.’

So, more attentive to the movement of the Spirit who moves within.
