Destroying hostility
Today’s passage from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is full of promise for us in a time of global turmoil and division.
Christ through, his sacrifice on the cross, has ‘broken down barriers’, ‘brought us close’, ‘restored peace between us’, destroyed hostility, united, reconciled, and made us one.
And what was the price of this healing, restoring, unifying grace? His own bodily destruction.
Let us pray today for the miracle of reconciliation in our personal lives and in the world at large.
Lord help us to open our hearts to your ‘Good News of Peace’
