Death or life?

What’s dead in your life?

A relationship with a friend, or even a loved one?  

Perhaps it’s a living connection with your faith.

Or hope that the world will one day be a happier, safer, more caring place to live.

Death, destruction and despair seems to be all around us in these days. It’s hard not to be drawn into the whirlpool of angst that is dragging so many people down.

But, where we see nothing but death, the Lord sees life and hope and love.

The Lord promises to breathe new life into dead bones. 

Today, let’s tell God exactly how we feel about the world and about ourselves. Spill out our grief, despair, disillusionment, anxiety… and hopes.

Then wait. Have patience. Listen for God’s response.

New life is coming.
