Pastoral Visitations During Bushfire Season – Cooma
I have now arrived at Cooma having concluded my pastoral visitation of the five parishes of our South Coast during this dangerous bushfire season.
Yesterday, here in the district of Cooma, three brave American firefighters died tragically when their water bombing plane crashed nearby.
When I gather with Cooma parishioners for Mass tomorrow morning, we will remember these brave men, their families, and friends back in the United States of America.
You may wish to do likewise in your prayers.
I will also be visiting the parishes of Jindabyne and Tumut in these days.
We continue to pray for each other in this dangerous season.
RIP

Heartfelt condolences to the American firefighters loved ones, colleagues and communities they were from. Their bravery and generosity will never be forgotten. Most sincerely Kate
