Celebrating Holy Week at Gundagai

Easter services are among the most well attended and most joyous every year. Here’s a look at how Holy Week was celebrated at Gundagai.

Fr Namora led us in some beautiful ceremonies including the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday and The Passion of the Lord on Good Friday with Veneration of the Cross.

Easter Vigil Mass included the Service of Light and Blessing of the Baptismal Font where Fr George reminded us that Jesus has led us out of the darkness and into His wonderful Light – he has brought salvation for everyone of us.

On Easter Sunday Morning, Fr George emphasised that the Light being passed on to us all never diminishes. As the parishioners and visitors left St Patrick’s Church, Fr George spoilt everyone with some yummy easter eggs.
