Big But

We say that Paul was ‘converted.’ So we celebrate today the ‘Conversion of St. Paul.’

But he was a ‘man of God.’ So might it be better to say that he was ‘awakened’ by God?

Semantics? Maybe, but he sincerely believed he was doing the right thing, when, in fact, he was doing the wrong thing.

We can be sincere in so many aspects of our lives. And this is good.

But, and it is a big but, we must be open to what God may be re-directing us to.

Apostle of the Gentiles. Pray for us.
